Beaumont

After posting Snowblind and referencing Beaumont. I had to collect the few things they released. Siesta Records has an incredible roster and a fine ear for beauty. The first few Beaumont releases took my ear.. . En Pleurs is one of the most beautiful pieces of pop music ever..velvet with molasses dripping slowly. Burt Bacharach would be proud!

Rediscovered this long lost gem. File under Saint Etienne, Beaumont, Siesta and Elefant Records. A great find for the upcoming summer. Super pop with breathy girly vocals. First single was on Heavenly Records and the 2nd single and lp was on independiente.co.uk/. Both singles and album are here.
